E&K Scientific's storage plates are manufactured from clear, natural polypropylene that provides a stable environment for long term sample storage. These plates are certified RNase/DNase free and are manufactured in an ISO 9001:2008 certified environment that includes: tooling, injection molding, assembly, testing, and quality control. These precision molded deep well and standard plates provide a consistently flat bottom and unique low dead volume design that make them the best choice for automated liquid handling.

This plate is recommended for the growth of bacterial cultures or storage of compounds. It offers a 2 ml working volume when sealed with cap seals. The pyramid bottom eases sample retrieval, and improves mixing within the well by creating a sloshing effect rather than a vortex when agitated. The polypropylene construction offers a low binding surface to prevent samples from sticking to the side walls during elution, and is chemical inert for combinatorial chemistry applications
