CellBIND

The Corning CellBIND surface improves the attachment and growth of fastidious cell types by featuring a net negative surface charge due to oxygen-containing functional groups incorporated in the polystyrene surface. The result is a surface that is more hydrophilic and wettable than standard TC-treated surfaces, which facilitates cell attachment and spreading.

Ultra-Low Attachment

The Corning Ultra-Low Attachment surface is a hydrophilic, neutrally charged coating covalently bound to a polystyrene vessel surface. The hydrogel inhibits specific and nonspecific immobilization, forcing cells into a suspended state, enabling 3D spheroid formation. The coating is stable, noncytotoxic, biologically inert, and non-degradable—and can be applied to a wide range of cultureware, including plates, dishes, flasks, as well as 96-well and 384-well plates for high throughput screening (HTS) spheroid applications.

Synthemax

The Corning Synthemax II-SC Substrate is an easy-to-use, self-coating material for creating a unique synthetic surface that mimics the natural cell environment. This surface supports the adhesion and expansion of stem cells in their undifferentiated state and directed differentiation into specialized cell types.
